Refund policy

At Trail Forge, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward return and refund process.
1. Return Eligibility
You may return a product within 30 days of delivery, provided that:
- The item is unused and in its original condition.
- The item is in its original packaging with all tags and accessories included.
- You have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or order number).
Non-Returnable Items
- Products that have been used or show signs of wear.
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or purchased during clearance events.
- Gift cards.
2. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at info@trail-forge.us with your order number and reason for return.
- Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with a return authorization and instructions.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
- Ship the item to the address provided in the return authorization.
Please do not send returns without first contacting us. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.
3. Return Shipping
- Defective or incorrect items: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
- Change of mind or other reasons: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
4. Refund Process
- Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email about the status of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
- Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error).
5. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, size, or color, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:
- Your order number.
- A description of the issue.
- Photos of the damaged or defective item.
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.
7. Wrong Item Received
If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will provide a prepaid return label and ship the correct item to you as soon as possible.
8. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received your refund after the expected processing time:
- Check your bank account or credit card statement again.
- Contact your bank or credit card company — it may take additional processing time.
