Refund policy

At Trail Forge, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, we offer a straightforward return and refund process.

1. Return Eligibility

You may return a product within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused and in its original condition.
  • The item is in its original packaging with all tags and accessories included.
  • You have proof of purchase (order confirmation email or order number).

Non-Returnable Items

  • Products that have been used or show signs of wear.
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or purchased during clearance events.
  • Gift cards.

2. How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@trail-forge.us with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Our team will respond within 1–2 business days with a return authorization and instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
  4. Ship the item to the address provided in the return authorization.

Please do not send returns without first contacting us. Unauthorized returns may not be processed.

3. Return Shipping

  • Defective or incorrect items: We will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you.
  • Change of mind or other reasons: Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

4. Refund Process

  • Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email about the status of your refund.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • Please note that your bank or credit card company may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the return is due to our error).

5. Exchanges

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different product, size, or color, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number.
  • A description of the issue.
  • Photos of the damaged or defective item.

We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

7. Wrong Item Received

If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery. We will provide a prepaid return label and ship the correct item to you as soon as possible.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund after the expected processing time:

  1. Check your bank account or credit card statement again.
  2. Contact your bank or credit card company — it may take additional processing time.
